Early Access is free for your first 2 months. During setup, we’ll ask a household administrator to add a card, and you can decide later. Nothing is charged before the free period ends, and we’ll email the person who pays a week before the first charge. If no card is added, the household pauses at the end of the free period until someone adds one, and your data is kept so you can come back.
Subscription. After the free period, Kit is a paid household subscription. Before you add a card, we’ll show you the price, how often you’re billed, what’s included and any add-ons, and ask you to agree.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price you agreed to, and we charge your card until you cancel. After you subscribe, we’ll email you these renewal terms and how to cancel.
Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Kit never sees or stores your card number. You authorize us to charge your card for each renewal and any add-ons you turn on.
Canceling. You can cancel anytime in Kit’s settings, online, in a few clicks. You don’t need to call or email us. Canceling stops the next renewal, and Kit keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Refunds.
- If you change your mind about your first paid charge, email hello@usekit.io within 14 days of it and we’ll refund it in full.
- Monthly plans: after that, we don’t refund part of a month.
- Yearly plans: you can cancel anytime, and we’ll refund the whole months you haven’t used.
- If we discontinue Kit, or end your access when you haven’t broken these terms, we’ll refund prepaid fees for time you won’t get.
Price changes. If we change the price, we’ll email the person who pays at least 30 days before the new price applies. The new price starts at your first renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it does.
Taxes and failed payments. Prices may exclude taxes. If a payment fails, we’ll retry it and let you know. If it still fails after 14 days, the household pauses until it’s resolved.
